New Spring, New Hope

I am an hour late,

a week even,

time has changed, to be saved

spring came week ago.

Sun shines upon the balcony of my concrete fortress

Children play far bellow,

Careless, happy,

Arguing about nonsense

A stray dog walks by

looking for food

People rush, wherever there is to rush

on Sunday

I hear a song on the radio

Saying we get hurt by who we love the most

It pains the most I say

But with new buds springs new expectation

Grass is getting greener

So is hope
