Looking down on us
mere mortals,
millions get lost in the gaze
in curiosity,
in search for the unknown
neighbor counts
so do kids
when monsters come chasing
they run the fears away
they emit energy of the sublime
we reach for them
countless beauties of the dark
we gaze, we wonder
