Monuments from Former Republic of Yugoslavia

Belgian photographer Jan Kempenaers spent three years touring the former republic of Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia) photographing monuments that were built during the time and following the orders of Josip Broz Tito. The Gallery follows bellow.

It should also be noted that these monuments were built in places that are usually far away from urban communities and are left to ruin, and as such are rarely visited.
